After a brutal prairie winter outdoors, Erwin gave up on every trap, treat, and rescuer — and chose his own moment. He's now warm, fed, and looking for a forever home.

Rescuers spent eight months trying every humane capture method imaginable. Then, one freezing night, Erwin simply followed a homeowner through her open basement door. He's friendly, talkative, and (despite his missing teeth) a great eater.

Toothless cats are honestly some of the sweetest. They're often more affectionate because they relied on people for food. Whoever adopts Erwin is getting a gem. 💛
