The newly commissioned elephant ambulance — equipped with hydraulics, IV systems, and cooling — transported the injured elephant to a specialized hospital. She's now in stable condition.

Years of forced labour left the elephant with severe leg wounds and emaciation. The ambulance is the first of its kind in South Asia. Wildlife SOS has rescued over 50 working elephants since 2010.
